ETRUSCO-CORINTHIAN OLPE WITH FRIEZES OF ANIMALS. Ca. 650 - 580 BC. A pottery olpe with a broad mouth with protruding disc attachments, a vertical handle rising above the rim and a pear-shaped body on a ring base. The exterior is decorated with horizontal friezes of animals, each depicted in profile with rosettes between them.
