Exceptional spherical chandelier in carved alabaster. The upper part is decorated with a procession of six figures dancing and holding hands, dressed in sheets, barefoot, accompanying a chariot drawn by four horses and led by the god Apollo. In the lower section, eight putti play in the sky among the stars and clouds. They hold musical instruments and garlands of flowers and are also dressed in drapery. The middle section is decorated with a frieze featuring the symbols of the twelve signs of the Zodiac. Three bronze chains held by the head of a putti support the sphere.
