AN EXCEPTIONAL PAIR OF TRIANGULAR SALT CELLARS, FRANCE, CIRCA 1600
8,30 x 12,20 CM - 3,3 x 4,8 IN.
These salt cellars are a magnificent example of "Edelzinn" production inspired by the Italian Renaissance, and to our knowledge are the first to be found in pairs.
Museography
An almost identical example is in the Grassi Museum in Leipzig.
