An exceptional and ravishing bouquet brooch in 18K yellow gold 750 thousandths and platinum 850 thousandths, set with three flowers of five petals made up of cushion sapphires ranging from 1.65 carats to 4.11 carats in claw setting, the centres of the flowers with a cone motif, a twirling knotted ribbon holding five stems set with 34 grain-set pink and old-cut diamonds, the latter ending in the same cones. This type of Bouquet brooch is reminiscent of the Hawai collection by Van Cleef & Arpels, launched at the very end of the 1930s. Marked with the French hallmark, the diamonds are of very high quality.
