With 11 (incl. cover) mostly sheet-sized original woodcuts by Kirchner (4), Heckel (3), Mueller (1) and Schmidt-Rottluff (3), 1 reproduction after Mueller and 5 plates. Oldenburg, A. Littmann, 1912. [16] pp. Original cover of blue laid paper with title woodcut by Kirchner, printed in part on thin Japanese paper in red laminated to the cover (the latter light-stained and with small marginal tears, the cover creased and with tears in the margins, 1 large tear with old backing). Söhn HDO VI, 609 - Jentsch 4 - Bolliger I, 100 - Slightly altered catalogue of the exhibition, which was initially shown at the Fritz Gurlitt Kunstsalon in 1912. The 2 woodcuts by Pechstein still printed there were replaced in the present catalogue by works by Heckel and Schmidt-Rottluff after he was excluded from the group in the summer of 1912 due to differences. - With the woodcuts by Heckel: Bathers at the pond - Washing herself - Sailing boat (Dube 227, 228 and 226 I). - Kirchner: Title woodcut - Spin Dance - Toilet - Head of a Woman (Dube 727, 728, 730 II, 729) - Mueller: Three Seated Girls (Karch 4). - Schmidt-Rottluff: Combing Women - Seated Girl - Fir Trees (Schapire 97, 98, 76). - Printed on pink rag. - Slightly dusty in the untrimmed margins, minimally foxed.
