A complete copy of the four parts of this suite, considered to be the finest series of engravings on the fountains of Rome and its surroundings (Fowler).
Slightly later binding in full marbled calf with the arms of Paul de Beauvilliers, Duke of Saint-Aignan, spine with 6 raised bands. Interesting provenance for this work, the Duc de Saint-Aignan was notably French ambassador to Rome.
