ARMCHAIR
in ironwood, with carved and openwork decoration of scrolls, garlands of ruyi and sapèques, all inlaid with mother-of-pearl forming motifs of precious objects, flowers, stylised "shou" (longevity) characters, the back and seat inlaid with pink marble plaques. A silk and linen cushion embroidered with cranes and deer among peonies rests on the seat.
