Feine Figur eines Sakya-Patriarchen, wohl Sakya Pandita (1182-1251). Feuervergoldete Bronze. Tibet. Der Patriarch sitzt mit gekreuzten Beinen auf einem doppelten Lotosthron, die rechte Hand erhoben in vitarka mudra, die linke zeigt nach unten, er trägt den typischen Sakya-Hut und ist gekleidet in Mönchsgewänder, deren Säume mit floralem Dekor geschmückt sind, die Mönchsweste mit geometrischem Muster. Sockel verschlossen, Bodenplatte mit einem Doppel-Vajra in Vergoldung versehen. Base sealed, base plate gilt and incised with a double-vajra.
