Felice Donghi, was a prominent architect and scenographer in the Milanese milieu of the second half of the 19th century. A pupil of Giuseppe Bisi at the Brera Academy, in 1847 he won a prize in the Great Landscape Competition with the painting Grandiose group of trees now in the Brera Art Gallery. In the beautiful view of the city animated by figures, one can perceive the inspiration from the painting of Giovanni Migliara both in the architectural research and in the realisation of the figurines that animate the scene
