Félix ROZEN (Moscow 1938-2013), "Série aléatoire", pyrocera technique, signed and dated 1999, countersigned and dated on the back 20.IV; 1999, H: 50 cm, W: 50 cm Muscovite artist naturalised in France in 1974. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, he was a painter, engraver, poster artist for France Culture, performance artist, photographer and film-maker. A true music lover, he never stopped exploring the relationship between music and painting throughout his career. He was particularly close to Soulages, Zadkine, Sonia Delaunay and the members of the Cobra adventure. His works can be found in numerous public collections, including the Centre Pompidou, Tate Gallery, Guggenheim and Moma.
