One of the few copies containing the engraved frontispiece, 70 (out of 72) plates engraved after drawings by Charles Monnet, painter to the king, by Jean Baptiste Tilliard and 24 culs-de-lamps decorating the summaries.
Copy enriched with a handwritten ex-dono from Madame Fétremont de Valay, née de Salignac la Mothe Fénelon, to her goddaughter Madame Brabaud (Brunet II, 1215) (Cohen, 203). Serious dampstaining in volume I, bindings spotted.
