The car has been out of operation for the last ten years and was recently revitalized. The vehicle had a comprehensive service inspection with an exchange of the cam belt, a new water pump, an oil change and 4 new tires. The F 355, also designed by Pininfarina, became the best variant of the 348 model series, as its 3.5 liter 5-valve engine had an output of a full 380 hp, transmitted to the rear wheels by a 6-gear transmission. Due to its profiled underbody it barely needed spoilers.
