Interior, comfort, ergonomics and aerodynamics were improved. The chassis has been lowered as opposed to the Testarossa, the engine efficiency increased to 38 hp and the torque value was improved. With the 512TR one returned to the ‘old’ names: the ‘5’ indicating the engine displacement in liters and the ‘12’ the number of cylinders. Front, rear and engine cover were subjected to a discreet facelift. The vehicle was delivered on the 5th of March 1993 by the Swiss Ferrari Dealer Walter Hasler to the first owner Dr. Rene Miotti.
