At the beginning there were the Berlinetta Version GTB and the Targa Version GTS. In 1995 the F355 Spider followed as a fully adequate convertible. On the part of Ferrari, the 355 series have always been subjected to slight improvements. Finally, upon customer’s wish, the new sequential F1 gearbox found its way into the serial production and was a popular novelty at the beginning of the 90s. The electrohydraulic system that was directly derived from Formula 1, debuted in 1989 with a victory in the Brazilian Grand Prix. Our GTS F1 originates from the last year of production in 1999 and was only built in an edition of 529. Very few of them were fitted with the optional ‘Fiorano handling package’. This Ferrari 355 GTS F1 is indeed equipped with the rare option ‘Fiorano Handling Package’ and has following changes compared to the series vehicles (modified stabilizers, suspension springs, damping characteristic, steering gear, chassis control and drilled brake discs). Rounding off the already extensive list of options of the chassis 113371, are the optional carbon race seats, which were ordered in size L. Other special features are the Scuderia Ferrari Shields in the front fenders, which were introduced with the 355, a 6-disc CD changer and the popular Challenge Grill in the rear. Like the entire vehicle, the Targa roof, too, has been painted in Rosso corsa from the beginnings in the factory onwards. Only a fraction of the entire 355 series is equipped with these extensive optional features and thus claims an exceptional position in its 8-cylinder generation.
