This Ferrari Mondial T with sliding rooftop and a mileage of only 56,461 kilometers was first delivered in Italy. The car still has its original service check-book with the last entry on 23 November 1995 for the 40,000 kilometer check. The last exchange of the cam belt is not known. Bertone's idea of a 2+2 seater with a mid-ship engine, for the first time implemented in the 308 GTB4, was consequently taken into the future with the Mondial, as more and more young Ferrari owners wanted to take their families for a ride. The type designation was taken from the four-cylinder Mondial 500 from the early 1950s, as an expression of a claim to make a car for a world-wide market. For the Mondial from 1980 Pininfarina used the chassis of the 308, which was extended and had a wider toe. Thanks to the consequently employed roll radius zero with flat wheel rims, the car with a mid-ship engine proved to be quite fast despite a performance of only 214 hp. As of 1989 the Mondial got a transverse engine and was called Mondial T. The vehicle has to be paid within 7 days after the auction and collected within 7 business days after receipt of payment.
