It contains an ornate title by Charles de La Fosse after Charles Eisen, an allegorical frontispiece with a portrait of the dauphin by Jacques-Philippe Le Bas after Charles Hutin, 5 large double-page perspective views and 10 representations of monuments, decorations and sideboards (3 of which are double-page views) engraved after drawings by Charles-Nicolas Cochin fils, 4 plans, 2 of which are double-page plans with ornaments.
