Starting from a simple platform in 1956, FIAT was able to create an unusual vehicle with suicide doors, side windows and 6 seats, while at the same time creating a very compact vehicle. The small 767 cm3 engine did all of this very well. Very popular in Italy, the Multipla saw very little of the French roads at the time.
