Hier gastierten berühmte Tänzer und Tänzerinnen wie Isadora Duncan oder die Dolly Sisters. Ihre exotischen Kostüme und Tanzposen inspirierten Chiparus zu seinen fragilen und kostbaren chryselephantinen Figuren. Chiparus - and the Spirit of Art Nouveau Living in Paris in the Golden Twenties, next to the movements in the fine arts and a new, modern image of women as Garçonne, Demetre Chiparus was influenced by the glamarous revues as they were displayed in the Folies Bèrgere or in the Moulin Rouge.
