FIGURE OF VENUS AFTER BATHING Italy, 17th/18th century. After a model by Giambologna (1529-1608). Dark patinated bronze. Venus kneeling and looking upwards. On a later, black marble base. With old Sotheby's label The Cyril Humphris Collection and a further label. H without base 10 cm. The bronze somewhat rubbed and with minor scratches. The base with several chips and scratches.
