Group of figures "Children's Idyll". Original title Three children playing on an irregularly oval piece of grass. Boy lying in the centre blowing his horn. A boy standing to the side, giving instructions to his dog, and a girl with a cat in her arms kneeling in front of the horn player and listening to the sounds. Polychrome painting with subtle gold decoration. Designed by Johann Peter Melchior. Minimally chipped/remnant; maker's mark. H. 16.5 cm. W. 19.5 cm.
