Figurative late Biedermeier centrepiece in silver and uranium glass. Rectangular stand with curved centre and scrolled rim at the corners. Relief decoration of cartouches, latticework and flowers. The shaft in the shape of a fully sculpted elephant as a support for a rectangular bowl with rounded corners and a moulded rim. Volute handles. Minimally dam.; figure 12 lot, master Heinrich Wilhelm Niemeyer (became a citizen in 1837). Total weight 765 g. H. 20.8 cm. 30 cm x 13 cm.
