Origin : - Probably comes from the souvenirs of Lieutenant Wilhelm Ribbeck, taken on the Genappe causeway in the Emperor's sedan, then by inheritance to Pastor Kypke, with mention in his inventory "silver perfume bottle, with an N engraved on the lid" ; - Then the former Napoleonic collection of the Prince's Palace of Monaco (2nd sale, lot 128), with mention of this history.
