FLORIO and CINZANO - rare lithographed desk pad circa 1930 for the Cinzano aperitif. Signed "L.Cappiello". Very good condition, the colours are well marked, with its blotting paper inside, note a very very slight trace of moisture in the upper corner. The cover is embossed like a little animal. 37 x 27 cm (closed). Printed by: "Devambez-Paris - sous-mains.Imp. Max Cremnitz". In 1568, Antonio Cinzano was listed as the first vermouth producer in Italy. His descendants, two herbalist brothers, Giovanni Giacomo and Carlo Stephano, founded the Cinzano company in 1757, in the small village of Pecetto, near Turin (Torino), in Piedmont.
