Collection of ladies' linen and layette from a bourgeois family, late 19th-early 20th century, Mainly a bonnet and slit breeches in cream gauze, embroidered and trimmed with lace. A dozen other pieces: nightdresses, underwear dresses, jumpsuits, some embellished with embroidery and lace; embroidered canvas flounces, entredeux embroidered with pearls and metallic thread. Four ornate bonnets and a pair of cotton piqué baby booties. There are also around twenty pairs of gloves of all lengths, in cream, jersey and knit fabrics.
