Strong cavalry sword type 1730. Fully brass filigree fuse. Brass mounting, ovoid pommel, single-branch hilt, half-shell and short quillon (replaced later). Strong blade with central flattened quarter decorated with the motto "VIVE LE ROY" in brass inlay on each side (one side slightly missing), then with central ridge. Total length: 114 cm. Fairly good condition. Without scabbard. Early 18th century. Provenance: Collection of Mr F. EXPERT: Arnaud DE GOUVION SAINT-CYR.
