Strong cavalry sword type 1750. Fuse filigree brass (repairs and minor accidents). Brass mounting, two-prong guard, bivalve shell and short quillon. Curved blade with flat back, hollow grooved sides, engraved on the heel with "Vive le roy" and the Arms of France. Later (20th century) leather-covered scabbard with iron and brass fittings. Length: 107 cm. Fairly good condition (pommel changed from model). Circa 1750. Provenance: Collection of Mr F. EXPERT: Arnaud DE GOUVION SAINT-CYR.
