First edition. - The book illustrates the short story by Mason Williams "How to derive the maximum enjoyment from crackers" (1967), the text is printed on the inside back cover. The figures in the photos are Larry Bell (man), Léon Bing (woman), Rudi Gerneich (page) and Tommy Smothers (chauffeur). Crackers, which was deliberately photographed like a collection of film scenes, was the basis for Ruscha's 1970 film Premium - Slightly browned.
