FRAGMENT OF POLYCHROME FRESCO
Egyptian art, New Kingdom, probably 18th dynasty
Fragment of a wall decorated in polychrome stucco with a banquet scene depicting two women seated in profile to the left, dressed in long white tight-fitting dresses, wearing heavy black wigs and adorned with large multicoloured necklaces. The first holds a lotus flower to her face, while the second raises her left hand in the direction of a third figure, of whom only the arms remain.
Missing.
