Fragment of altar in embossed and chiseled silver. Viceregalwork. Peru. 18th century. Topped by a double scroll of vegetal elements, inside which we find two strawberries. The sides and the interior profile, ornamented by the same border of small geometric motifs, which end in a second tri-lobed border. The center has a reserve with signs of having contained an applied silver element, perhaps a religious anagram. On both sides, a symmetrical decoration composed of a large double scroll that contains an angel rising from a flower and a large strawberry. 44 x 57 cm.
