[FREEMASONRY]. Règlement des Déf∴ de la T∴ B∴ à l'O∴ d'Issoudun. S.l.n.d. [circa 1809]. In-12, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, ornate smooth spine, interior garland, gilt edges (Period binding). Unique and very rare edition of this regulation of the Issoudun Masonic lodge Les Défenseurs de la Tour Blanche, constituted by the Grand Orient de France in July 1809. The seal of the lodge is woodcut at the beginning of the text. A list of its members, showing their names, jobs and ranks, appears on pp. 73-76. The Venerable was Emmanuel Cochon de Lapparent, sub-prefect of Issoudun and future prefect of the Cher.
The CCFr lists only three copies of this volume, preserved at the BnF and in Châteauroux.
