First edition illustrated with 25 original etchings by Jacques Camoreyt. Edition of 450 copies, this one of 325 copies on Marais vellum, enriched with an original signed watercolour on the frontispiece, dated 1937, 2 suites of etchings (pure etching and state with remarks) and two autograph letters signed by the artist bound in fine. Attached is a volume bound by Maylander, containing : - a large watercolour drawing bound at the beginning of the volume, - 60 original drawings, most of them watercoloured, used to illustrate the work, - a bistre suite of engravings, - an autograph letter signed by the artist, addressed to "Biblia" (Suzanne Courtois), dated 9 February 1941 and decorated with a watercolour drawing, - a letter from the same artist to "Dear Madam and Friend", dated 19 March 1941, with a coloured pencil drawing, - an autograph letter signed by the artist about the bistre suites printed for this work (only two copies exist), and the copy containing the original drawings, - a signed autograph letter from Léopold Carteret to Jacques Camoreyt.
