The King on horseback, galloping left, sword raised, wearing a crowned helmet surmounted by a lily, wearing over his chain mail a fleurdelisé coat of arms; the horse's caparison is fleurdelisé. Rv. (dolphin) XPC* VINCIT* XPC* REGNAT* XPC* IHPERAT. Leafy cross with quatrefoil heart within angled quatrefoil decorated with palmettes and flanked by four hollowed-out shamrocks. Dy.359 - Fr (cf. 285); Gold - 3.84 g - 29 mm - 7 h NGC MS 62 (6971387-010). Variety with KROLVS on the right. A small dolphin as initial sign on the reverse for Dauphiné. Beautifully struck with a golden patina. Superb at Fleur de coin. According to J.-C.
