Av. +: KAROLVS+ DEI GRACIA+ FRANCORVM+ REX (punctuated by two superimposed crosses). Crowned shield of France between two crowned lilies. Rv. +: XPC+ VINCIT+ XPC+ REGNAT+ XPC+ IMPERAT (punctuated by two superimposed crosses). Leafy cross with quadrilobe angled in heart, cantoned by four coronets, within a quadrilobe. Dy.511 - Fr.307 ; Gold - 3,43 g - 29 mm - 2 h NGC WITH CLEANED DETAILS (8583598-035). The two dots after the initial crosses are the different of master. Wide flan and beautiful strike. Barely warped blank. Superb.
