(coronet, dot below) KAROLVS: DEI: GRACIA: FRANCORV: REX. Crowned shield of France between two crowned lilies. Rv (coronet, dot below) XPC: VINCIT: XPC: REGNAT: XPC: IMPERAT. Leafy cross with quadrilobe angled in heart, cantoned by four coronets, within a quadrilobe. Dy.511E - Fr.307; Gold - 3.38 g - 28.5 mm - 9 h Top Pop (2): this is the most beautiful graded example! PCGS MS62 (51879288). With a dot under the initial coronets: possibly for the rare 3rd issue from 20 January (executory 19 March) to 26 May 1447. Copies with a dot in the coronet would be from the 5th issue. Slightly bent. Slight patina. TTB to Superb.
