Left bust of the King, bare head, hair tied with a ribbon on the nape of the neck, wearing a cloak tied on the shoulder with a fibula. Below (different) (date) and (workshop). Rv. THE NATION THE LAW THE KING (different). Bundle topped by a Phrygian cap and flanked by 2 - S, between two oak branches. In the exergue: L'AN (date) DE LA LIBERTÉ. G.25 v. - Dy.1722 v. ; Bronze - 33 mm - 6 h Top Pop: the most beautiful graded example! PCGS MS63 (36856961). With smooth edge: this example appears to be a later refracture of excellent quality. The blank shows fine striations in the fields. The original colour is still partly visible under a delicate shiny brown patina.
