Right bust of the King, cuirassed, head bare. Rv. (sun) DVM. TOTVM. COMPLEAT. ORBEM (date). Cross formed of four crowned Hs, cantoned by two crescents and two lilies; (workshop) in heart. Dy.972 - L.810 - Sb.4976 (0 ex.) - G.389D2 (to be published) - Fr.368; Gold - 3.55 g - 26.5 mm - 5 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! From the collection of P. and C. Narce collection, No. 222. PCGS AU50 (55936957). With different C of the master Jean Chantal (1546-1553). The 2 of the date is turned over as on the half-stamp (G.365D3 illustrated p.157). Extremely rare, with an unpublished bust for the Henri d'or, which will be the subject of a new numbering in the next edition of Gadoury. Wide flan, with a trefoil strike on the right, and a lack of metal on the reverse. TTB / Superb.
