Right bust of the King, cuirassed in the antique style; below (different). Rv. (different) SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTVM. (date). Round shield crowned, parted of France on a half-cut of Navarre-Béarn, surmounted by the hand of justice and the sceptre in saltire. Dy.1541 - G.221 - Dav.1318 ; Silver - 27.08 g - 40 mm - 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! PCGS XF40 (1701-03) (50994183). A rare type, quite difficult to find. Reformation on a shield with palms of Bordeaux (K). Transverse flank defect on reverse. Grey patina. VERY GOOD.
