Nude, laurelled bust of the King right; below (workshop). Rv. (different) CHRISTVS REGNAT VINCIT IMPERAT. Cross knight bearing in heart three lilies in a round shield. Dy.1633 - G.336 - Fr.453 ; Gold - 9,79 g - 26 mm - 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! PCGS AU53 (50994182). Slight weakness in the centre of the reverse. Slight hairlines in the fields, barely burnished. Superb. According to Jérôme Jambu's work on the mints of Caen and Saint-Lô, p.561, only 16,121 louis were issued in 1719 in Caen, between 19 January and 1 August 1719, for a weight of 645 marcs 3 ounces.
