With a pleasant, slightly heterogeneous ochre-brown patina. Superb. Anne-Caroline or Anne-Charlotte de Lorraine was the 13th and penultimate child of Duke Léopold and Élisabeth-Charlotte d'Orléans. She was born on 17 May 1714 at Château de Lunéville and died on 7 November 1773 in Mons. She was elected abbess of Remiremont on 10 May 1738, coadjutor of the monasteries of Thorn and Essen and abbess of Sainte-Waudru in Mons in 1754. This medal is the work of a woman: Marie-Anne de Saint-Urbain, daughter of the engraver Ferdinand de Saint-Urbain, who produced a series of medals between 1742 and 1780.
