Bust of the King on the left, wearing an embroidered jacket, with the Order of the Holy Spirit, his hair tied at the nape of his neck with a ribbon. Signature DUVIV. on edge of bust; below (different). Rv. SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTUM (different) (date). Oval crowned shield of France between two olive branches, (workshop) below. Dy.1712 - G.352 ; Silver - 18 mm - 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! From the R. L. Lissner, CNG/St. James's Auctions Ltd 29 sale, 1 August 2014, no. 297. NGC MS 62 (3839949-003). Second half strike, with strong bust. Minor adjustment marks on reverse. Slight grey patina. Superb.
