The archangel Saint Michael standing under a baldachin ending a polylobe cut below, crowned, holding a long-staffed cross resting on the head of a dragon lying under his feet, and the shield of France with three lilies. Rv. + XPC: VINCIT: XPC: REGNAT: XPC: IMPERAT. Cross four-lobed, leaved and flory, within a quatrefoil flory flanked by four coronets. Dy.255A - Fr.273; Gold - 6.07 g - 33.5 mm - 2 h For the 2nd issue only minted from August 1341 to June 1342! With traces of mounting and cleaning in the fields. With a golden patina in formation. Very good to very good.
