Very fine quality, complete and well centred. Slight grey patina. Rare. TTB to Superb. According to Philippe Schiesser, "Les oboles unifaces de Charlemagne de Melle", Numismatique et archéologie en Poitou-Charentes, RT SENA 2, 2009, pp.49-62 and pl.VI, these obols are indeed divisionaries of the Charlemagne denarius.
