Knight's cross of the Legion of Honour of the 2nd type in silver with 5 white enamelled double rays under a soldered crown with 12 fleurons, gold centres in 2 parts, on the obverse a small laurelled head of the Emperor turned to the right on a striped background with the motto "Napoléon Emp. des français" on a blue enamelled background, on the reverse the imperial eagle head turned to the left on a striped background with motto "Honneur et Patrie" on a blue enamelled background, green enamelled crown of foliage, smooth ring, later ribbon (unstuck). Gross weight: 13.60 g, dimensions with ring: 62 mm x 38 mm. The points are chipped and one of the star's rays is missing. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
