The Prince standing frontally, crowned with roses, holding a raised sword, flanked by four ostrich feathers, under a gothic canopy, with two leopards lying on either side of his feet. Rv. + DN[S]: AIVTO: Z: PTCCTO: MC: Z: IIPO: SPAVIT: COR: MCVM (workshop):. Cross tasselled and leaved with rose within a rhombus curvilinear heart, cantoned by two lilies and two leopards, within a square four-lobed accosted by shamrocks. AGC.156A 3c v. - Dy.1120 - El.- - Fr.5 ; Gold - 5,43 g - 32,5 mm - 12 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! PCGS MS63 (51879522). No E is crossed out on the reverse and the legend ends in MCVM (unpublished variant). This copy is very fresh, on a slightly oblong blank. Minimal typographical weaknesses. Superb at Fleur de coin.
