The Genius of France engraving the word CONSTITUTION (in two lines) on a table of the law resting on an altar, flanked by a beam to the left, a cock to the right. DUPRÉ cursive signature on the base of the altar. In the exergue: (date). G.62 - Fr.478; Gold - 23.5 mm - 6 h Top Pop (3): this is the most beautiful graded example from PCGS! PCGS MS62 (48722963). Some adjustment marks on the right-hand side. Slight black traces of lamination on the reverse. Slight wear with a tiny flat on the Genie band. Preserves its original lustre under a golden patina. Superb in Fleur de coin.
