NGC MS 63 BN (5987335-059).
With the original red colour around the reliefs, with a brown patina forming. Spectacular strike, of large modulus, with neat corners. Superb to Fleur de coin.
Of remarkable quality and care of engraving, by an engraver who seems to have only this essay to his credit, J. Gessener. This mint is set at a time when the return of Henry V to France is under discussion, just before his refusal to recognise the tricolour flag.
