Although the diameter is the same as that of the 5 franc module, the weight is greater. Very rare and "reported but not confirmed" by Gadoury in 1989 but a few examples are known as MDC 10 n° 656. Fine breaks from the corner to the right on the bust. Slightly satin-finished relief. Minimal hairlines and grey patina, under a varnish. Superb at Fleur de coin. According to Bauquier and Cavalier, one example was struck in Gold, "which, in 1912, was in the possession of M. Bourgey, medal expert in Paris". The wedge used on the right is characteristic and is that used for strikes dated 1832. Henry V's trip to England in 1843 caused a stir but had little effect. The English calmly welcomed the Count of Chambord, as well as a few supporters who made the trip from Normandy, such as Chateaubriand, the Duke of Richelieu and a few other royalist deputies who were later stigmatised in the Palais-Bourbon by Guizot. * Following Council Directive (EU) 2022/542 of April 5, 2022, implemented in national law from 01/01/2025, buyers from within the EU have to pay 5.5% VAT on the hammer price of this lot. * Following Council Directive (EU) 2022/542 of April 5, 2022, implemented in national law from 01/01/2025, buyers from within the EU have to pay 5.5% VAT on the hammer price of this lot.
