Mercury seated left on a bundle of goods, slightly draped and wearing a winged petascus, his left hand resting on an antique rudder, his right hand holding a caduceus; a cornucopia inverted behind the bundle; in the exergue: DOMARD (date) INV; ESSAI to the right of the field. Rv. * CHAMBERS. OF. COMMERCE. OF. FRANCE. In the centre: BON POUR 1 FRANC; below (different) and BR. AL. GEM.95.9 - Maz.- (cf. 2583e, without TRIAL) - VG.- ; Maillechort - 4,39 g - 23 mm - 6 h This is the second highest grade (4)! PCGS SP66 (60811445). Special strike (SP). With TEST, on a non-magnetic nickel silver blank. Near mint condition, a few traces of run-out on the right. Superb at Fleur de coin.
