Head of the Republic right, with Liberty cap and laurel; below signature P. TURIN. Rv. Between two finials: 20 FRANCS (different) (date) (different) and LIBERTE/ EGALITE/ FRATERNITE; in exergue ESSAI. GEM.200.2 v. (fluted edge ?) - VG.- - Maz.2556 (smooth edge); Nickel - 33 mm - 6 h This is the second highest grade (3)! PCGS SP64 (51871599). Special nickel strike (SP), reduced modulus and smooth edge as described in Mazard. Traces of circular polishing are visible. With a slightly stained grey patina. Superb at Fleur de coin.
