Av. REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE. Around the central round perforation, a radiating star above, an oak leaf to the left, ears of wheat to the right and an anvil below; to the left: ESSAI MONETAIRE; signature RG in monogram.
Rv. LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE. Allegory seated, front, leaning on the central round perforation and on a beam, she holds a sword, a palm and an olive branch; 25 Cent on the left and signature R. Grégoire on the right.
